The Extravagant Beaches Of Los Cabos East Cape

This richly diverse destination delivers fun and excitement. Beaches, golf courses, eco-tourism, nightlife and day spas are all available within minutes from any one of its many homes for sale. The area is considered the crown jewel of real estate in Baja offering a unique experience that captures the essence of what luxury living should be about. Read below to explore some of the featured communities in the gorgeous East Cape area.
  • Playa Los Frailes (The Monks Beach)
Go 40 miles south of San José, and you’ll come to The Monks Beach. Considered among the most beautiful beaches in the country, it attracts campers and yachtsmen. The cove is one of the favorite anchorages on the coast of Cabo. You can swim, board or rowboat to the beach. If swimming or sunbathing, snorkeling or fishing are your pastimes – this is your beach of choice!
  • Shipwrecks Beach
Shipwrecks Beach, East Cape is located a few miles south of Playa Higuera in Los Cabos. The beach is known for its right reef break with barrels and immense tubes! This beach is great for surfing and picnics.
  • Playa Higuera (Fig Tree Beach)
Playa Higuera has been ranked one of the top beaches in Mexico for its nice white sand, crystal clear water and picturesque view. And it offers something else: drama. No other beach in Los Cabos has a tree that looks like this. The gnarled old fig tree is out of place as it struggles to survive among the large rock formations. The partially hidden beach is lashed with waves from the Pacific Ocean and can be dangerous for the unadventurous. But those who are up for an adventure will find a stunning seascape.
  • Cabo Pulmo Beach
Five miles north of Los Frailes, Cabo Pulmo is another of the more popular beaches on the East Cape of Los Cabos. And for good reason. The place has a restaurant, plenty of space in a cove for RV’s and Campers, and it even has the only living coral reef on the Pacific coast. If diving is your thing, you’ll love exploring the deep waters of finger coral reefs.
  • Buena Vista and Los Barriles
Buena Vista and Los Barriles, two towns on the edge of Bahía de las Palmas, ten minutes northeast of Las Cuevas on Highway 1 in Baja California Sur, are at the heart of the quintessential beach community. Baja’s best in water sports is here, along with historic sites and artisans. Few places in Los Cabos are as unspoiled and dramatic as the East Cape. A fast growing and active part of the community, the region stretches from several miles east of San Jose del Cabo along the Sea of Cortez, to north of Punta Pescadero, Los Barriles, and Rancho Buena Vista. All are names long popular with fly-in fishing diehards; but perhaps not so familiar to many others. The East Cape is a luxury destination. It’s a private paradise where you can feel like you’re miles away from the rest of the world, even if you’re just minutes from Cabo San Lucas. Comprised of gorgeous beaches and rolling hills, visitors to Los Cabos will find plenty of places to go and things to do. Living in the East Cape is a dream come true, make it your reality today by contacting Oceanside Real Estate, today.
